Processing Potato Strategic Investment Plan 2017-2021
The processing potato Strategic Investment Plan (SIP) will help guide Hort Innovation’s oversight and management of investment programs for the processing potato industry over the next five years. It lays the foundation for decision-making in levy investments and represents the balanced interests of the industry. The very important function of the SIP is to ensure levy investment decisions align with industry priorities.
The SIP was developed through a process of consultation, drafting, validation, stakeholder feedback as well as final approval by Hort Innovation’s Board. The process involved consultation meetings (detailed below) and online validation, giving processing potato growers opportunity to provide input and feedback.
If you have any questions about the development process of the SIP, please contact Hort Innovation's processing potato Relationship Manager, Christian Patterson, by phone on 0433 896 753 or Christian.Patterson@horticulture.com.au.
