Evaluation of potential Prunus rootstocks for almond production - Stage 4

Hort Innovation is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and capable delivery partner for the project: Evaluation of potential Prunus rootstocks for almond production - Stage 4 (AL26002).

The objectives of the services being sought are to:

  • Evaluate the performance of prunus rootstocks under differing Australian growing environments
  • Develop a comprehensive data package that support the validation of rootstock performance and grower confidence in rootstock selection
  • Publish grower resources to communicate key rootstock performance data and support decision making for Australian almond growers
  • Reduce the risk associated with adopting new rootstocks with availability of rootstock performance data in the major Australian almond growing regions.

Hort Innovation has prepared a Request for Proposal (RFP) document that provides background information, outlines the scope of services, the procurement process and the information required from interested parties.
