Request for Proposal

Hort Innovation is seeking suitably qualified and experienced respondents to provide an Expression of Interest (EOI) to co-design and deliver an investment for: Building market access pathways for the Rubus industry (RB26002).

This project concept, developed in consultation with industry stakeholders and informed by the Berry Export Strategy 2028 and the Rubus Technical Market Access Strategy 2022, has identified the following priority areas for future investment:

• Technical market access R&D to support priority rubus export markets
• Methyl bromide fumigation data packages for raspberries and blackberries against Queensland fruit fly
• DAFF-ready technical evidence to support future market access submissions

Hort Innovation has prepared an EOI document that provides background information, outlines the scope of services, the procurement process and the information required from interested parties.
