Hort Innovation is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and capable delivery partner for the project: Understanding challenges facing access to onion seed (VN26001).
The objectives of the services being sought are:
- To better understand and capture the barriers affecting access to seed volumes in Australia for specific planting regions and timing.
- To engage with onion seed suppliers and distributors to document available seed lines, including specific traits and distribution channels and barriers to provision of seed to Australian growers.
- To document the barriers to onion seed access in Australia and provide practical recommendations to mitigate the risk of access to preferred seed varieties in Australia.
Hort Innovation has prepared a Request for Proposal (RFP) document that provides background information, outlines the scope of services, the procurement process and the information required from interested parties.
