What was it all about?

This project coordinated the avocado industry’s presence at the Gulfood tradeshows in 2024 and 2025, as well as in-market visits that addressed the industry’s current needs.

This included, but was not limited to:

• Supermarket visits to understand local consumers’ preferences and competing products on-shelf
• Fresh produce market visits to gain insights into local supply and demand dynamics
• Business-to-business meetings with buyers from potential distributors and retailers
• Meetings with other relevant stakeholders, such as Austrade, to understand market regulations, potential challenges, and opportunities.
