Dried fruits knowledge management project (DG13005)
Publication date: June 26, 2016
Delivery Partner: Dried Fruits Australia
This project funded the construction of a knowledge management system to preserve, and provide continued access to, the many research findings on dried grape production that have been developed over several decades.
A project management committee was established to oversee the project, and growers, researchers, a librarian and an IT expert were included, in addition to representatives from Dried Fruits Australia.
The committee agreed that an online library would be the most cost-effective way to preserve scientific knowledge while allowing growers easy access.

The online library was officially launched at the Dried Fruits Australia Annual Growers Forum held in October 2015. It provides growers and processors with a trove of information that they can use to boost productivity and profitability.
The online library is available on the Dried Fruits Australia website here
