Annual scholarship opportunity for a horticulture grower to attend the Australian Rural Leadership Program (HA25001)
Delivery Partner: Australian Rural Leadership Program
This project will support three horticultural levy payers to undertake the Australian Rural Leadership Program (ARLP), one of Australia’s leading leadership development programs for established leaders seeking to create meaningful change in rural, regional and remote communities.
Over 15 months, participants will take part in a series of immersive learning experiences, including intensive face-to-face programs, online learning and independent project work. The program will challenge participants to strengthen their self-awareness, leadership capability and ability to navigate complex issues, while developing skills in areas such as influence, advocacy, governance, negotiation and systems thinking.
Through the program, the three participants will develop the knowledge, networks and confidence to become industry champions and potential advocates for horticultural research and development. They will be better equipped to identify and address challenges facing the horticulture sector, build productive partnerships and contribute to informed decision-making on issues affecting growers and regional communities.
By investing in leadership capability, the project will help strengthen the pipeline of future horticulture leaders who can champion industry priorities, support innovation and drive positive outcomes for Australian horticulture.
