Berry export strategy (MT17001)

Funded by both the raspberry and blackberry and strawberry industries, this project was tasked with identifying, sizing and prioritising opportunities for the industries in international markets, through the development of an export strategy.
The Berry Export Strategy 2028 was released in July 2018, providing the industries with a strategic assessment of future opportunities for export market development over a 10-year horizon.

As an initial step, after the project an export working group was to be established to review the recommendations in the strategy and to provide further advice to the industry Strategic Investment Advisory Panels and Hort Innovation on any immediate and ongoing investment areas that will assist in the development of exports for the strawberry and raspberry and blackberry industries.
This multi-industry project was a strategic levy investment in multiple Hort Innovation Funds
