This project will strengthen capability across the Australian mushroom industry by improving access to international expertise, practical training and global networks for growers and compost producers.
Delivered over three years, the project will provide a structured program of inbound and outbound study tours, workshops and learning opportunities. International experts will visit Australia to share knowledge and practical solutions to industry challenges, while Australian participants will be supported to attend overseas conferences, training programs and site visits through a competitive scholarship program.
Key outputs include inbound study tours delivered across multiple growing regions, outbound study tour opportunities, industry workshops, scholarship-supported learning activities, and ongoing industry consultation to identify priority topics.
The project is expected to improve knowledge sharing, strengthen industry connections, support the adoption of global best practice, and enhance productivity and business performance across the Australian mushroom industry.
