In 2021, this short investment provided the sweetpotato industry with valuable insights to improve the domestic supply chain’s understanding of international markets and consumers.

The project selected six priority export markets for analysis – United Arab Emirates (UAE), Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Netherlands and the United Kingdom.

Research consisting of market consumption trends, preferences, behaviour, and channels, supply chain considerations, market access and regulatory factors, overall market demand and growth were undertaken for the selected markets.
