What is it all about?
This project supports leadership and capability development within the vegetable industry by funding eight scholarships each year for employees of vegetable levy-paying organisations to attend the IFPA Produce Executive Program between 2026 and 2030.
The program focuses on developing practical skills in leadership, innovation, problem solving and strategic decision-making. Participants will explore approaches to business growth, identify emerging market opportunities, investigate new marketing and branding strategies, better understand customer and supply chain dynamics, and learn how to foster innovation within their organisations. The highly interactive format encourages participants to share experiences, test ideas and collaborate with peers from across the value chain.
By supporting participation from vegetable levy-paying businesses, the project will help build a pipeline of capable leaders equipped to respond to industry challenges and drive future growth. The program will also strengthen connections across the horticulture supply chain, creating valuable networks that support ongoing collaboration, knowledge sharing and industry development.
