This investment developed a comprehensive, evidence-based, independent assessment of export opportunities which supported the development an export strategy for the Australian onion industry. The project identified opportunities for Australian onions in international markets, provided the domestic industry with the information to guide future activities, and enabled long-term and sustainable export growth for the industry.
This project was a strategic levy investment in the Hort Innovation Onion Fund
