Request for Proposal
Hort Innovation is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and capable delivery partner for the project: Enhancing avocado quality by reducing lenticel damage (AV24005).
The objectives of the services being sought are to:
- Enhance avocado industry practices by improving knowledge and minimising lenticel damage during harvesting.
- Update, if appropriate, tools and techniques to minimise lenticel damage based on new knowledge.
- Enhance industry practices for better fruit quality and market competitiveness.
- Collaborate with growers and avocado extension programs to implement findings in real-world scenarios and across regions.
- Understand whether there is a correlation between lenticel damage and rots.
Hort Innovation has prepared a Request for Proposal (RFP) document that provides background information, outlines the scope of services, the procurement process and the information required from interested parties.
