Request for Proposal
Hort Innovation is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and capable delivery partner for the project: Maximising macadamia yield (MC24003).
The objectives of the services being sought are to:
- Gain knowledge on the physiological requirements of trees to increase nut set and retention and maximise total kernel recovery;
- Provide information to initiate abscission of mature nuts to shorten the harvest period without a loss in quality;
- Provide clear guidance on orchard management practices in current planting systems by providing information on what inputs the tree needs and when to maximise production quality and yield; and
- Produce grower actionable research outcomes.
Hort Innovation has prepared a Request for Proposal (RFP) document that provides background information, outlines the scope of services, the procurement process and the information required from interested parties.
