R&D levies are matched 1:1, and marketing levies are unmatched but can form part of this project.

Tradeshows are one of the three most important factors influencing the customer’s purchase decision in business-to-business (B2B) markets and rank second only to direct sales in terms of importance to the market development mix. Tradeshows can enhance industry capability in strategic export markets, resulting in greater value creation.

Hort Innovation aims to deliver highly effective events that benefit both exhibitors and visitors.

Investment objectives for exhibitors:

  • Attend special events/presentations
  • Identify future trends
  • Identify new customers
  • Maintain relationships with existing customers
  • Conduct industry intelligence
  • Solve problems with customers
  • Browse through a great range of exhibits
  • Obtain value for money.

The Hort Frontiers support aims to create, develop, and facilitate these international trade events. The projects combine trade and marketing strategies to create connection and motivate audiences for Australian produce. We have event production specialists with operational expertise to make your experience pleasant and memorable.

During the tradeshows, a team on the ground will support you during the entire event. They will ensure that your objective outcomes are reached and coordinate marketing material and demonstrations during the trade event, depending on the level of investment you will budget for.

In addition, Hort Innovation and Austrade will support industry with one-to-one meetings with foreign industry executives and government officials, pre-screened to match specific business objectives, whether for representation, direct sales, or joint ventures in the local market. We can also organise networking with importers, distributors, wholesalers, and retail category buyers from key supermarket chains throughout the world.
