What was it all about?
In 2022, this project delivered a National Cherry Conference, as an opportunity for growers, exporters, researchers and Government to come together to learn about the latest industry research, build networks and share information.
The conference ran over three days and was designed to facilitate discussion and networking in a relaxed atmosphere. The program ran as follows:
- Day 1: Export and trade– Followed by networking drinks
- Day 2: Production and marketing– Followed by industry awards dinner
- Day 3: Field Day– Export processes
Approximately 200 guests attended, including growers, researchers, freight forwarders, government, and other stakeholders across the whole supply chain.
Comments and evaluation survey results indicated high satisfaction levels from participants and sponsors.
