Pineapple strategic agrichemical review report (2019)

In 2019, a Strategic Agrichemical Review Process (SARP) was undertaken for the pineapple industry, through the project Melon and pineapple industry SARP report updates (MT18007). The result was the production of this pineapple SARP report, which provides an overview of current priorities and gaps regarding pest, disease and weed control.

The SARP report is intended to direct ongoing efforts to ensure availability of and access to effective chemical control tools for the pineapple industry, to address those needs and gaps.

This report is not a comprehensive assessment of all pests and control methods used in the industry, but attempts to prioritise the major problems.
