Completed project
Australian dried fruit communications program (MT15031)
Key research provider: Dried Fruits Australia
Publication date: Friday, May 31, 2019
What was it all about?
This project, which ran from 2016 to 2019, maintained and improved communication to Australian dried fruit growers and other industry stakeholders. By keeping the industry up-to-date on R&D, news, events and other critical information, it assisted the uptake of R&D by the industry and supported decision-making in dried fruit businesses.
A number of regular communication channels were maintained by this investment, including but not limited to:
- Quarterly magazine The Vine (a joint magazine between the dried fruit and table grape industries), with all issues available to download here
- The Dried Fruits Australia website
- Fortnightly Dried Fruits Australia e-newsletters, with issues available via the ‘e-News’ section here (if you’re a dried fruit producer and don’t currently receive the levy-funded e-newsletters, sign up by contacting the Dried Fruits Australia team at communications@driedfruitsaustralia.org.au)
- Social media, including the Dried Fruits Australia Facebook page and YouTube channel.
This project’s work has been continued by the investment Dried grape industry communications program (DG18001).
