Australia’s horticulture exports were worth $2.54 billion in 2022/23, according to the latest data from the 2022/23 Australian Horticulture Statistics Handbook, making export a driving factor behind the horticulture sector’s growth and ambitions of becoming a $20 billion industry by 2030.
Hort Innovation’s Trade R&D Team work collaboratively with industry to increase opportunities and demand for Australian produce overseas. The Trade R&D Team looks after a portfolio of investments in market development, export capability, market access, collaborative partnerships and international marketing campaigns.
