Andrew Philpotts

Andrew Philpotts joined Hort Innovation as Chief Financial Officer in October 2023, following over three years as a self-employed Interim Executive with clients in infrastructure, agriculture and chemical manufacturing.

Prior to joining Hort Innovation, Andrew had an extensive career in resources, packaging and building products. He was Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Orica’s Australia Asia business for over a decade, CFO of Carter Holt Harvey’s Building Panels business and a senior commercial manager with PACT’s Contract manufacturing division and Amcor’s bulk packaging division. 

Andrew has a mix of skills including strategy, business management, end to end contract management, business efficiency, supply chain,operations management and senior business partnering.  He has a particular interest in technology and its role in business transformation.

Andrew has bachelor’s and master’s degrees in commerce, is a CPA and a Graduate from the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
